Tanya L. Zanish received her B.A. in history and medieval studies from Ohio Wesleyan University and her M.A. in historical and archival administration from Wright Stare University. Before moving to Alabama in 1989, Zanish worked as an archival consultant for Systech Corporation and the Montgomery County (Ohio) Historical Society.
