Stanley Keith Arnold

Stanley Keith Arnold is an associate professor of history at Northern Illinois. He earned both his PhD and MA at Temple University in Philadelphia. He is the author of Building the Beloved Community: Philadelphia’s Interracial Civil Rights Organizations, 1930- 1970 (University Press of Mississippi, 2014). His work has appeared in The Journal of American History, The American Historical Review, The Journal of Sport History, The Virginia Magazine of History and Biography, Popular Music and Society, The Historian and History: Reviews of New Books. He is currently writing a book on African Americans and the early modern Olympic Games (1896-1948).
