Friends of Alabama Heritage

Friends of Alabama Heritage is a support group created in 1996 by a group of loyal and devoted subscribers to ensure the continued publication of Alabama Heritage and to build an endowment for the long-term future of the magazine. Because Alabama Heritage is subsidized by The University of Alabama, the future of the magazine is jeopardized each time the state cuts its funding to higher education.

Gifts to Friends of Alabama Heritage are tax-deductible as possible by law and represent a much-needed source of funding for the magazine. Friends will be listed annually in Alabama Heritage.
